| Swami Kriyananda, also known as J. Donald Walters, is a direct disciple of Paramhansa Yogananda. He is the author of over 80 books on yoga, meditation, and spirituality. I first read his autobiography, The Path, in 1984. It changed my life. The Path is the story of Swami Kriyananda's spiritual quest and his eventual discovery of his lifelong teacher and guru ParamhansaYogananda.
