Dear Friends:
No one knows exactly what this New Year, 2012 will bring. My wish is it be a time of great blessings and divine awakening for all of us. What form that blessing and awakening takes is still to be discovered. Let's just do our best to stay "awake and ready," and most importantly, let's trust in God. (I just checked and it still says that on our money, phew!)
This New Year's Sunday Service in East Lansing will begin with a special event: Mike and Martha Limauro will travel from their home in the Charlotte Area to conduct the service. Mike will lead the meditation and do the Wisdom Talk and Martha will take care of the chants. I'm certain you'll find their presentation very inspiring and helpful. Let me share a little bit about them that you may not know.
Mike practiced law for many years in the Detroit Area and has also founded and led successful businesses in the area. Some years ago he felt guided to expand his counseling services beyond the legal and business realm, and developed a full-time Executive Coaching Service, which includes retreats conducted on his 200 acre "Renewal Ranch" property in mid-Michigan. Renewal Ranch includes, among other things, riding stables and a beautiful full-service Yoga Studio run by Martha. The Yoga Studio serves many in the surrounding community but also is an integral part of the retreats that Mike has been conducting. They also have three sons, a daughter, as well as three dogs, eight cats, and four horses.
In recent years Mike and Martha have embraced the Ananda Yoga-meditation path that I'm a representative of. They received Kriya Yoga initiation from me, traveled to Ananda Village in California to meet Jyotish and Devi, and have now volunteered to share their joyful energy, and wise inspirations with us. I hope you can join them Sunday. I'm certain you'll find it very inspiring and helpful in your own spiritual journey.

As for the rest of January: Sunday services will continue to be lead by Doctor's Will and Wendy, along with Mother Mary Thomas, and the Right Reverend Karl. Then Judy and I will be back on the first Sunday in February, February 5th.
I do urge you to attend this service on New Year's Day. I have a feeling it will mark a very important step for all of us and especially for the future of our dear spiritual family in the Lansing Area.
May the blessings of God, Christ, and the Great Master's be with all of your always,
Lorne
