Judy Dekun leads Sunday Service monthly at our Ferndale center and hosts group meditation in Marysville weekly. She became a Kriyaban in 2002, and married Lorne Dekun (the founder of Ananda Michigan) in 2005. Together they spent their married life as ministers serving their guru, Paramhansa Yogananda. Judy is also a hospital nurse educator and integrates the yoga philosophy into her nursing practice.
Karl Ericson has been practicing yoga and meditation for 15 years. In 2003, after meeting the founder of Ananda Michigan, Lorne Dekun, Karl began to deepen his practices and his commitment to a spiritual path based on the teachings of Paramhansa Yogananda. He has spent the last decade furthering his commitments to Ananda Michigan by conducting Sunday services, weekly mediation gatherings, and teaching classes. In 2013 Karl was ordained as an Ananda minister. He currently resides in Detroit, MI and works in the field of education as a librarian.
Martha Limauro is the co-owner of the Still Butterfly Yoga Studio in Charlotte, MI. She has her RYT 200 Certification from the Yoga Alliance Registered Yoga School & Teacher Certification Program in Ann Arbor, MI. Martha has over 16 years of practical experience in hatha yoga. In addition to teaching classes and facilitating retreats at her yoga studio, she currently teaches at Ananda meditation centers throughout Michigan, Olivet College in Olivet, MI, and Alive in Charlotte, MI.
Mike Limauro is the co- owner of the Still Butterfly Yoga Studio in Charlotte, MI. Mike has been practicing meditation for over 25 years and teaches seminars on meditation, stress management, yoga philosophy, and more at various locations throughout Michigan. Mike also provides leadership development and coaching services for business owners and executives through his company Renewal Road.
