Carla Krzysiak RYT-500, found a yoga journey and career after almost 20 years of stress from running a business, having poor posture and being a busy mother of 3. She felt relief and fell in love with the physical practice and self-discovery of yoga. In 2012 Carla founded Replenish Yoga Studio and Replenish Yoga Foundation with her then business partner, Michelle O’Brien. A nurturing challenge will be offered physically and mentally, packaged in a 1-hour yoga class with Carla. She enjoys teaching many styles of classes including Kids Yoga Camp, Gentle therapeutic, slow flow and level one with meditation around the Detroit area.

Stefanie McClellan has been a dedicated yogi for over 15 years, and loves introducing “everyday people” to yoga. As a former clinical and school social worker, she notices that core counseling principles like genuineness, empathy, and acceptance help guide her teaching approach, and she utilizes her longtime dedication to mindfulness meditation as well as her lighthearted sense of humor to reach her students. She completed her 200-hour yoga teacher training through YogaWorks in May 2017, as well as an immersive Yin Yoga Teacher Training earlier this year. She looks forward to sharing her love and knowledge of yoga with the Ananda Community.

Michelle is a motivated Yoga Instructor with advanced training in yoga and specialization in Children’s and Teens Yoga. She enjoys inspiring others to improve wellness and commit to long-term health and fitness goals. Michelle has her RYT-500 hour certification.

Sarah is a practitioner of yoga for over 15 years, completed her RYT200 training through the YogaWorks program, is registered with Yoga Alliance, and has a sub-certification in Yin Yoga. She strongly believes that yoga is for everybody and that everyone is enriched by the full body, mind, and spirit benefits of a yoga practice. With a special affinity for introducing new students to yoga and yoga asana, her classes strengthen and settle the mind and body. Whether choosing a vigorous Vinyasa practice or a soothing restorative, a class with Sarah beings a renewed sense of contentment to students both in and out of class.

Savitri Stivers is a certified yoga instructor and licensed massage therapist serving her students and clients through the principles of therapeutic touch & alignment. Trained through Citizen Yoga’s 200hr program, Savitri believes strongly in the practices of alignment to heal, strengthen and restore the whole body. As a mom, yogi and lead director of the Ananda Ferndale Center, Savitri has made it her life’s work to develop space for others to uplift & inspire themselves through their own awareness and willingness to grow.

Mike Christy began practicing yoga in 1996. Upon moving to Los Angeles in 1997, he
practiced yoga at a variety of alignment-based studios while working as a visual artist and
an elementary school teacher in grades K-6 for the Los Angeles Unified School District. During this time he also worked for LAUSD’s Gifted and Talented Department showing other teachers how to use differentiated instruction, the arts, and environmentalism to meet the needs of all learners. Mike moved to Michigan in 2018 and completed his 200-hour RYT certificate with Citizen Yoga. He is currently in the process of completing a
second 200-hr RYT certificate with Yoga Medics. Mike brings two decades of expertise in making learning meaningful for all students to his yoga teaching.
